Last Sunday, I went to Pasar Ikan Hias Jatinegara with my family. We went to buy Ikan Cupang for my little cousin’s birthday. After looking around, we decided to buy 5 pairs of Ikan Cupang. I myself buy a pair of cute little Puffer Fish. It looks like the one from Finding Nemo movie, but without the spine. The seller ask for Rp 10.000 for a pair of the little one and Rp 15.000 for the bigger one. I ask for Rp 5.000 for the little one and he agreed to sell it *yayy* Because it was a hot afternoon, I decided to wait at PGJ with my little cousins, while my father went to buy some fish food. When we met back, I saw he already brought a pair of cute little rabbits, one is gray, and the other is yellow. Ouwww….so cute XD He bought it for my mother ^^ She wanted one since she saw my neighbor’s rabbit ^^;;

A day after, I asked my cousin how’s his fish doing. He didn’t want to answer, but after a couple of persuasions involved, sadly, all the fish are dead. I couldn’t hope for more from a five years old boy ^^;; But he blamed his younger brother *which is three years old* for making his fish dead :P There goes my Rp 50.000 :P

Yesterday, one of my rabbit dead, the yellow one. From the first time we buy it, it didn’t look energetic like the gray one. But I didn’t suspect it will gone too fast, it’s only 3 days old at my house T_T My poor rabbit T_T The only thing left is its picture I took a day before its dead T_T

Earlier before, my turtle was also dead. It actually looked okay before. I suspect it was dead because it was upside down for a long time and can’t return to the normal position. Human could be dead if he/she is hung upside down, so maybe turtle could too ^^;; *what a really wild guess :P*

How bout my puffer fish? It looks okay, but I’m afraid that it’s after the tail of my gold fishes ^^;; Hehehe…seems like all of our pets are in trouble ^^;;

Yesterday I found my old felt doll which I made years ago. I used to make these felt dolls back then, but I stopped making it cause I was bored ^^ At first, me and my sisters used the pattern from Japanese Ondori Book. Then we started to create our own pattern and shape. We got quite a lot order until we bore to death making it ^^;; I’ll take the picture of them and upload them here in case you want to see my old creation ^^;; Ja ne!

Hi hi..after long time not posting anything here *thanks to my laziness ^^;;* Now I’ll post my latest crochet project. I downloaded the pattern from Clover’s site *now where’s the url ^^;;*

Anyway, here they are :D These are two beautiful butterflies :D The pink one is crocheted by me, and the green one is my sister’s. We crocheted it by looking at the pattern from the monitor directly because my printer was broken ^^;; This butterfly is my sister’s second project. I taught her how to crochet *what a nice big sister I am ;-)* Her first one was a cellphone case, but I forgot to take its picture ^^;;

I’m planning to attach this butterfly on a bag/book cover by sewing it. If you have another idea, please let me know ^^

Maybe that’s because they’re selling their own manufactured brand, so there’s no middle man involved in here. It’s like you buy it straight from the fabric. Americans are so crazy ^^;; When I was watching Fox News couple of days ago, I saw an interesting news about a new services called Personal Paparazzi. In short, if you use this service, you’ll get personal paparazzi following you around and taking millions pictures of you like you’re some kind of a big star celebrity ^^ And you also get faux tabloid as a souvenir for that event. Hahaha..how desperate people are to be famous ^^;;  How could someone actually pay to be bugged like that when the real celebs are annoyed by them ^^ I just don’t get it. I think the world is getting closer to the Doomsday *shaking head*

When I was browsing couple of days ago *like always ^^;;*, I found this interesting service. It’s a search engine service, but it’s not like the usual one. My Canvas Crochet Wallet

Here’s the wallet that is made with canvas crochet technique. I was attending a crochet group meeting when Mba Swat showed this technique and taught us. We buy the nylon yarn and canvas needed for this project. 3 days later I finished the project. But I’m just too lazy to upload it. Sorry ^^;; So here it is. I just took the picture today without any preparation just like my previous photos of crocheted dolls *I even made up a small box studio from a cardboard box and white HVS paper just to make the lighting and the background looks perfect ^^;;*

Baby Shoes

When I was browsing on rakuten.co.jp, I found this cute baby shoes pattern. It’s perfect to be given to my friend who has a six months old baby girl. First attempt, I made it too small. Ignoring the unfinished shoes, I began to crochet with second yarn. But it also failed ^^;; I guess that’s because I made it using wrong crochet hook and I didn’t bother with the gauge :P So the next time, I used crochet hook number 3 and carefully measured it. And here’s the result. The dimension is 11cm long, 6.5cm wide. This baby shoes is using cotton yarn bought from Mba Sisca. Thanks mba ^^

When I took this pic, the case wasn’t even finish yet. I finished it two days ago. The pattern I used is the modification of the above baby shoes pattern *see the floral shape part* The rest is just made up by me ^^;; I’m using the yarn I bought from my trip to Bandung last month ^^ Pretty decent I think ^^;;

In time when inflation rate has rising high over the increase rate of our income, we have to look for other way to keep up with it. Saving your money at the bank?  It sure does safe, but the interest rate is lower than the inflation rate. I’m sure we don’t want our money wasted just to pay the bank administration charge. So what should we do? Investment is the answer. We have to invest our money to investment instruments available on the market. The question is, do we have the knowledge to do it? As commoner, we have little knowledge in this field. That’s why we need Investment Advisor like George Divel to help us determining how we’re going to invest our money. But there’s a catch. All of this pattern is written pattern, not the graphical one ^^;; So if you don’t understand how to read it, good luck in learning it ^^;; I must say the same to myself, as I can’t read it too ^^;;

I’ve been thinking to open my own online shop. But there seems so much things that hold me back. First, I still can’t decide what products to be sold. And when I eventually found it, I need to know where can I get the supplier. Then there’s also shipping and payment method to be considered. And the most important thing, how will I promote my shop. All of these make me stop before I even start ^^;;

Besides selling manufactured products, I also dream about having handcrafted products + craft tools online shop. But to showcase my own creation only, I’m afraid buyer will have limited selection to choose from. I’m thinking about asking another crafters to sell their creations on my site. They still keep their product, but they sell it through my shop. The problem is, if a buyer buys 3 items from 3 different crafters, he/she will be charged 3x shipping fee T_T If I were the buyer, I will mind that problem :(

So, I come up with a solution. Crafters who want to sell their product through my shop will have to send their product to me. First, they will send me the photo of their product. The product will have to be approved by me before I agree to sell it on my shop. Crafters are to be advised to send their products in bulk to save on shipping fee. From then on, I will take charge of the rest. Maybe I’ll charge some percentage of the price to cover my cost ^^;;

Anybody interested? If I get many respondent, maybe I’ll go along with this plan ^^
