This morning, my surrounding neighborhood has become Venice. Right in front of my house, I could see water everywhere. How could that be? Yup, the unwanted regular flood did that. Yesterday’s heavy rain also contributed some share in making my district area went submerged. But the main contributor has to be the rain in Bogor area. If you live in Jakarta, you will agree to what I said. Flood is the main problem that face Jakarta besides traffic jam. The government is in the progress of making Banjir Kanal Barat & Banjir Kanal Timur to overcome flood. BKT location is near my house. And from what I see, this time this project is really being done properly *please note that this project has been initiated since tens years ago*. It’s planned to be done on 2009. Let’s hope that by that time, Jakarta will not face flood problem anymore. Amiin.
